Pervert performed sex act in a car just 4m from children playing in school yard

A pervert watched porn and performed a sex act on himself in a car just yards from where primary school children were playing.

Kadir Kadir was caught in broad daylight with his shorts down and “touching himself inappropriately” while sat in his vehicle, which was parked-up just 4m from the playground at Hotspur Primary School, in Heaton, Newcastle.

The married 33-year-old was spotted by a horrified passer-by, who reported what she had seen to the school and police.

A court heard children, aged between four and five, were playing in the school’s yard, just 4m away, at the time.

Officers quickly located dad-of-two Kadir, who claimed he had found a “quiet spot” to watch porn on his phone, and he was arrested.

Now, the Bulgarian national, of Clive Place, Byker, is facing a possible prison sentence after pleading guilty to outraging public decency at Newcastle Magistrates’ Court.

Holly Common, prosecuting, said pizza delivery driver Kadir had pulled-up outside the school at around 9.30am on February 6.

She said: “The witness was walking along South View West. She was walking with the primary school to her right hand side.

“The school has a playground sited to the south west of the main building. It’s surrounded by a metal fence, which is approximately 6ft to 8ft in height.

“The playground can be seen from street level through gaps in the fencing.

“As the witness walked along the street, she saw children in the playground area and believed them to be about four to five-years-old.

“She noted the presence of a yellow motor vehicle, approximately 4m from the perimeter of the playground.”

The court heard the woman looked into the vehicle as she walked passed and was horrified to see Kadir, who was sitting in the driver’s seat, performing a sex act.

Ms Common added: “Shocked by what she saw, the witness took a step backwards and stated “Oh my God”.

“At this point, the defendant raised his hands in a manner she assumed to be apologetic before driving west towards Elizabeth Street.”

Magistrates were told around 60 children, aged between four and five, were playing in the yard at the time.

Ms Common said the youngsters were being encouraged to look for sticks near the boundary fencing but, fortunately, none of them had seen Kadir.

Police were called and later arrested Kadir, who has no previous convictions, in his yellow on nearby Shields Road, in Byker.

In interview, he told officers he had found a quiet place to park-up and had decided to watch porn on “Facebook or YouTube” on his phone.

Magistrates ordered the preparation of pre-sentence reports and Kadir will be sentenced at North Tyneside Magistrates’ Court on April 6.
