Man jailed after being convicted of sexual offences against two girls
A man has been sentenced to two years in prison after being convicted of sexual offences against two girls
Unemployed Bruce Copeland, 48 was also placed on the sex offenders’ register for 10 years after being found guilty of two offences.
Copeland appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff court for sentencing after being convicted by a jury of using lewd, indecent and libidinous practices against two young girls.
He was also convicted of a further charge of sexual touching.
The offences took place between 1998 and 2004.
Sheriff Graeme Napier told Copeland – whose address as given as Princess way, Dyce – “I consider this offending as sufficiently serious, that the only way I can deal with it, is with a custodial sentence”
