Road rage murderer Tracie Andrews’ older brother is child abuse images pervert

The brother of road rage murderer Tracie Andrews has admitted possessing child porn.

Lee Andrews, 45, appeared in court just two weeks before his younger sister was freed from jail. He has described his crimes as ‘not a big deal’.

The 45-year-old admitted 11 counts of making indecent photographs and one of possessing indecent images.

He was given a 24-month supervision order and banned from being in the company of a child under 16 without a parent of guardian.

Andrews was also banned from approaching any child who is alone and trying to engage them in conversation.

Furthermore he must only use computers with software installed preventing access to child pornography.

Andrews appeared at Worcester Crown Court on July 28. His sister, 42, was pictured shopping in a Home Counties town on August 13 – her first day as a free woman.

Balding Andrews lives in a shabby flat above a family clothing store in Rednal, Birmingham. He said yesterday: ‘I am not a pervert.

Andrews, who works as a courier for a firm in Redditch, Worcestershire, spoke out in support of his sister, insisting she ‘deserved a second chance’.

He added: ‘I think it’s good Tracie has been released.

‘She has served her time and deserves a second chance.

‘I haven’t spoken or seen her since she got out. She lives her life and I live mine.’

Tracie, served 14 years of a life sentence for knifing partner Lee Harvey, 25, to death in 1996.

She stabbed the bus driver 37 times and slashed his throat with a pen knife before leaving him to bleed to death in a country lane in Worcestershire.

She then concocted a story that he had been murdered in a road rage attack and made public appeals to trace the killer.

Tracie has changed her name to Tia Carter, dyed her hair black and underwent £5,000 of plastic surgery at the taxpayers’ expense to hide her identity.
