Pair jailed over young girl’s indecent images
TWO LLYN men who admitted sexual offences against a “vulnerable” teenage girl under 16 have been jailed.
Dale Rowlands, 25, of Parciau, Mynytho, Pwllheli, pleaded guilty to eight offences of making and possessing indecent images and a count of possessing cannabis with intent to supply. He was sent to prison for three years and three months.
Caernarfon Crown Court heard he had been arrested after explicit messages were found on the teen’s mobile phone. Prosecutor Matthew Corbett-Jones said she had sent videos and images to Rowlands.
Kevin Radcliffe, 23, of Morfa Garreg, Pwllheli, pleaded guilty to inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, namely to film and send an indecent movie of herself.
He was locked up for 32 months.
The prosecution said social media conversation was the evidence against him.
Sexual harm prevention orders were made against the two men and they must register as sex offenders.
Judge Hughes said the girl was “particularly vulnerable” because of her age and personal background.
He told Rowlands :”When she grows up and realises what she agreed to do on your behalf she will be horrified.”
The judge said a pre-sentence report indicated Rowlands didn’t accept full blame, nor did Radcliffe.
