Stafford man admits making and possessing indecent images of children
A Stafford man has admitted making and possessing indecent images of children.
One child in the images found on a computer belong to Thomas Higgins was estimated to be as young as five years old, Cannock Magistrates’ Court was told yesterday.
Higgins, 30, of Edwards Drive, pleaded guilty to three charges of possessing indecent movies of children and two charges of making indecent images of children.
There were 385 indecent images and nine indecent movies. Five of the movies and two of the images were classed as Category A – the most serious.
Higgins had no previous convictions, the court heard.
The case was committed to Stafford Crown Crown for sentencing at a later date and Higgins was granted unconditional bail.
