A Castle Cary man has admitted three historic sex offences against young boys.
Robin Sydney Thomas, 60, of Remalard Court was charged with committing two indecent assaults on a boy under 14 in the early 1980s.
He was also charged with inciting a victim to commit an act of gross indecency more than 30 years ago.
Dressed in a shirt and tie, Mr Thomas appeared before Judge David Ticehurst at Taunton Crown Court today and pleaded guilty to the all the charges against him.
The case was adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be created after the judge heard that Thomas had been involved in a serious car accident shortly before the offences and experienced significant head injuries.
He will be back before the court for sentencing on December 16, and was ordered to sign the sexual offenders register.
The judge warned him that ‘all options’, including an immediate prison sentence would be considered on that date.
