Convicted sex offender caught with indecent images of children
A convicted sex offender was caught with indecent images of children, a court heard.
Raymond Blackmore, aged 50, had pictures on mobile phones, Plymouth magistrates were told.
Blackmore, of Tamar House in Devonport, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of Category C images on July 31 last year.
Gareth Warden, for the Crown Prosecution Service, said police searched his flat after tracing the images via his email address.
The court heard that Blackmore was already being monitored by officers as he was on the Sex Offender Register for life.
Police are due to make an application for a Sexual Harm Prevention Order to monitor his access to the internet and restrict his dealings with children.
The court heard he has several serious sexual offences on his record, the latest dating back to 1999.
Blackmore was released on unconditional bail to be sentenced with the aid of a probation report on January 26.
