Swindon paedophile jailed after grooming 13-year-old girls online for sex acts

A “disgusting” pervert who groomed two 13-year-old girls online and made them perform sex acts has been jailed for six years after his girlfriend shopped him to police.

Sick Deano Abi-Nader, 24, claimed to be an 11 or 12-year-old boy and persuaded his victims to film themselves engaging in sexual activity.

Adi-Nader, the father of a six-month-old girl, videoed one victim carrying out activity on herself.

Police found numerous indecent images of children on his computer, iPod and iPhone, as well as extreme pornography involving animals and footage of a baby being sexually abused

His then girlfriend first raised the alarm when she became concerned by things she saw on his laptop, but Abi-Nader smashed the laptop and hid the hardware.

He threatened his girlfriend and her step-father about telling the police, but they handed the footage over.

Abi-Nader, from Swindon, Wilts., told police the indecent images had been downloaded due to a computer virus.

Colin Meeke, prosecuting, told Swindon Crown Court: “He had posed as an 11 or 12 year old in a number of correspondence with a number of young girls.

“He asked the girls to engage in sexual acts. He asked that they should film themselves.

“A number of girls who declared their ages as under 16 and appear to have posted films of themselves can be found on his own computer history.”

The majority of the girls could not be identified, but two said they were being bullied at school and were seeking solace online when Abi-Nader approached them.

One was a ‘vulnerable’ girl with severe learning difficulties, and the other was said to have succumbed to peer pressure.

Abi-Nader admitted two counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity in June 2011, two counts of making indecent images of a child and one of possessing extreme pornography.

Jailing him for six years, Judge Peter Blair QC said: “These were disgusting offences.

“Particularly vile were the counts where the 13-year-old child who you had sought out through social media, had significant personal learning difficulties and she was somebody you persuaded to carry out an act of penetration upon herself with an object.”
