Sentence deferred on Dumbarton child abuse images man

A DUMBARTON transsexual convicted of storing 350 of child sex images on a laptop will be sentenced next month.

John McAulay, 63, previously admitted storing the photos on a laptop found in his home.

At Dumbarton Sheriff Court last week it was heard the social work department had been unable to prepare a report requested by the court on the last occasion.

During the police interview, he explained his wife knew “nothing” about the computer and did not use it before telling officers how Victoria Seasons was his “alter ego” and he was a transsexual.

Sheriff Simon Fraser deferred sentence on McAulay, of Casthehill, until April 10 in order for the report to be prepared.
