≈ Comments Off on Christopher Doyle – Dundee/Longforgan
UPDATE – August 2012 – He was placed on probation and the sex offenders register for three years, banned from having any unsupervised contact with anyone under 17 and banned from taking any voluntary or paid work without having the job approved by his social worker. Doyle was also told he could only be in the supervised company of children with the approval of social workers and placed on probation for three years.
A PERVERT cabbie told a teenage girl he gave “freebies” in return for sexual favours before assaulting her in a terrifying attack.
Twisted Christopher Doyle, 44, groped the petrified 17-year-old after she told him she was “really skint” as he drove her home.
He then put his hand on her thigh and genitals and, when the girl fled from his cab, he followed her out and pressed himself up against her as she was trapped against his vehicle.
He’d picked her and a pal up at Fat Sam’s nightclub in Dundee before dropping her friend off.
Fiscal depute Carol Whyte told Perth Sheriff Court: “He asked if she lived far away. He said he’d given freebies before and asked if she knew how he had done that.”
Doyle then told the girl he’d made another passenger carry out a sex act on him to “pay” for the fare — and said he’d settle for “ten pounds and a snog”.
But after she paid him he drove to a quiet lane and attacked her.
Doyle was put on the sex offenders’ register after admitting the attack in Longforgan, Perthshire, in October 2010.
Doyle told her that he had made a previous passenger carry out a sex act on him to “pay” the fare. He then told the girl he would cut the fare to “£10 and a snog”.
He then drove on and pulled into a quiet lane where he told the teenager “no-one can see us”.
The fiscal continued: “She paid the fare and he switched off the internal light, reached over and touched her leg, running his hand along her inner thigh and trying to kiss her. She moved her head away and opened the taxi door. The accused got out of the taxi.
“He pressed his body against her so they were facing each other and her back was pressed against the taxi. He moved his hands up her skirt, feeling her legs and underwear at the front of her genitalia. He then forcibly kissed her. She then pushed him away. When she arrived home her parents saw she was in a hysterical state and the police were contacted.
The court heard swabs of DNA taken from the girl’s body matched the DNA of Doyle.
Doyle, of Wiston Place, Dundee, had sentence deferred for reports until August 29.
