Sex beast Donald Ross caught after going on the run
A sex beast who went on the run has been caught near the place he committed his crimes.
Former golf boss Donald Ross, 38, plied two schoolboys with drink and played a game of “strip roulette” before sexually abusing them.
He was jailed for two years in May 2007, with a two-year extension and supervision order in the community until 2011.
Ross, who was also placed on the sex offenders’ register, was released on May 13 this year, after serving half his sentence.
He moved to Fort William and, as part of his order, had to report to police. But he vanished on July 9.
Northern Constabulary issued an appeal in a bid to trace the pervert, who struck at his Disc Golf centre in Ullapool, Wester Ross, in October 2002.
A force spokesman confirmed Ross had been captured yesterday and was back in police custody. It is understood he was found near his former address in Wester Ross.
It emerged last week that Ross had been given a lift by Strathclyde Police officers during his time on the run.
