Man jailed for sexual assaults
A 26-YEAR-OLD man has been jailed for seven-and-a-half years after being found guilty on two counts of sexual assault on a child under the age of 13.
Leon Rush, of Queen’s Road, High Wycombe, was also sentenced for causing a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity, and a fourth count of sexual activity with a child under the age of 16.
Sentencing at Reading Crown Court on Monday, Judge Peter Ross told Rush he was “satisfied there is a risk of further offences”. He said Rush’s name would also be added to the sex offenders’ register for the rest of his life.
Det Con Luisa Taylor, the investigating officer, said: “I am extremely pleased with the result and hope that those who have suffered at the hands of Rush can now feel safe and begin to move on with their lives.”
